Sarah Gore, the youngest daughter of former Vice President Al Gore, got married Friday in a quiet, low-key ceremony in the California beach town of Carpinteria.
The 35-year-old exchanged vows with musician Patrick Maiani beneath a historic 126-year-old Torrey Pine tree as
dad and mom Tipper looked on, People.com reported.
This is the second marriage for Gore, who previously wed businessman Bill Lee in a lavish 2007 ceremony. Gore and Maiani reportedly got
engaged two months ago, according to the New York Post's Page Six.

After the ceremony, the wedding party moved to a nearby bakery called Crushcakes & Cafe.
"It was a fun little intimate reception," Alyssa Murray, the wedding and events manager for the cafe, told People.com. "They came in, had breakfast with their wedding party and cut their cake. It was kind of a last-minute thing, and really cute here in our small little beach town. They all had lattes, huevos rancheros, and different egg scrambles. It was a very small party — about 10 to 15 people."
Though the couple largely avoided the media, CNN iReporter Larry Nimmer happened to be drinking coffee at a nearby coffee shop when the wedding began, and he
chronicled the event for his website.
Other than that, though, the wedding went off without a hitch.
Some of the restaurant workers later commented on how down-to-earth Al Gore was during the festivities.
"It was shocking," cafe owner Shannon Gaston told People.com. "He talked to us, let us take pictures. He was just such a normal person and it was a real, real-family affair. But all of us kept wondering, Where are his security guards?"
