Sandra Lee has moved out of the home she shared with her ex, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The pair dated for 14 years and had lived together at "Lily Pond" before their split in September 2019. A year later Lee sold her beloved home for $1.85 million, according to Page Six, and on Monday said her final goodbye to the Westchester house that she called home since 2008.
"I love that house and I have a personal relationship with every single room of that home," Lee wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post that featured a photo of the house's exterior. "I hope the new owners take care of it as well as I did and I will love it forever."
In a second post, Lee recounted her "bittersweet" final moments in her home.
"I walked around the outside of my beautiful home — I wanted to drink in every angle and remember the beautiful moments that were spent in every place," she wrote.
"I just looked at the house, I prayed the next owners would be kind to it and love it as I did— I cried and cried," Lee continued. The TV personality added that it felt as if the house was speaking to her, telling her it was time to move on.
"It was a most amazing experience and I absolutely know that House and all of its 3 beautiful acres loved us too!"
After her split with Cuomo, Lee moved to a beachfront house in Malibu that she had purchased for $3.38 million, according to People. She also owns a $7 million Beverly Hills estate, which is where she will reportedly be living.
