'Sad Joe Biden' Meme Has VP Pondering Life as He Looks Out Window

A photo of Vice President Joe Biden staring pensively out a window has jump-started the creativity of the Internet community, which created a host of "Sad Joe Biden" memes.

The photo was first published in September by Getty Images, but it went viral online this week as websites like Buzzfeed encouraged readers to submit captions, according to the "Today" show.

The picture can be accessed on MemeGenerator.net, where there are numerous examples of creative captions, including, "I can’t believe I watched that whole 'Eaten Alive' show" and "Mrs. Obama says no more tater tots. Not healthy she says."
