Ryan Walton, a 20-year-old suspected of killing his parents at their home in Katy, Texas, has been caught after disappearing Thursday, the night the bodies were found.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office took Walton into custody after an off-duty deputy stopped Walton in his mother's blue BMW just after 12 p.m. on Saturday,
KHOU 11 Houston reported.
"We were able to receive surveillance video from the gates leading in and out of that subdivision. The vehicle was leaving at approximately 9 a.m. that Thursday morning," said Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls, who explained that they had kept an eye out for the vehicle ever since.

According to News 92 FM Houston, Two M’s Malt N Burger Mart owner Bill McKinney witnessed the arrest, saying of Walton, "He was reeling back and forth like he was maybe on drugs or something, so I ignored him because I didn’t really want to deal with him at the time . . . All of a sudden, there were at least 20 or 25 police officers surrounding the whole building — sheriff’s department, local police, undercover officers and all. It was crazy."
At a Saturday press conference Nehls said Walton was cooperating with authorities and answering all questions asked of him.
Michael Walton, 54, and Lynda Walton, 52, were found dead in their home in an upscale gated community from gunshot wounds. Derrick, the couple's 24-year-old son, found them dead, surrounded in small-caliber shell casings. Police have not recovered the gun that dropped them. The couple has four children total.
It was reported that Ryan had left the family's home three weeks ago, and authorities said there were signs of forced entry.
Walton remains at the Fort Bend County Jail without bond, facing two charges of murder.
