Rosie O’Donnell may soon return to "The View" on ABC.
While no official announcement had been made Tuesday evening, a source
told TMZ O'Donnell's return was a done deal.

"We're told the show will make the announcement shortly," TMZ reported, saying an agreement between O’Donnell and show has been struck, but that payment needs to be finalized.
The daytime talk show, which has declined in ratings, is looking for replacements for
Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy who announced their departures last week.
If O’Donnell does return to "The View," she will rejoin Whoopi Goldberg while the search continues for additional hosts, who could include conservatives Abby Huntsman and Margaret Hoover, TMZ said. The show’s executives are also reportedly looking for a Latina.
Hollywood Life said O'Donnell's deal would be announced during the Television Critics Association's presentations on July 15-16.
O'Donnell moderated the show from 2006 to 2007, but left after a fallout with then-co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck. She also said at the time that Barbara Walters had fired her.
Walters retired from the show on May 16 but is still an executive producer on the show that began airing in 1997.
Walters welcomed O’Donnell back to “The View” in February of this year, saying O’Donnell’s previous co-hosting of the talk show was mixed with good and “not so good” times.
