Rosanna Scotto, co-host of "Good Day New York," biffed it hard while shooting a Wednesday segment at Rockefeller Center's famous holiday ice rink with co-host Greg Kelly.

"I hurt myself on that one. I think I did. Alright, I'm fine," Scotto said as her colleagues helped scoop her off the ice. Former U.S. Olympian JoJo Starbuck, a three-time U.S. pairs skating champion, was among those who helped out.

Unfortunately for the enthusiastic anchor, who frequently engages in fun stunts for the show, she soon came to find out she needed to head to the emergency room.

"Rosanna took a bad fall, she broke her wrist and fractured her elbow and will need surgery," told the New York Post's Page Six reporters. "But she is a trooper and making jokes about it a minute later."

Another source joked, "Contrary to belief, Greg did not push her."

Lew Leone, vice president and general manager of Fox affiliate WNYW, tweeted out a picture of a smiling Scotto at the medical clinic just a few hours later.
