A 21-year-old Texas woman has admitted she committed robbery while driving with two infants in the back of her car.
Monica Michelle Logan reportedly targeted two Sonic carhop attendants at two different locations, according to arrest affidavits cited by KSAT.
In the first incident reported on Feb. 12, Logan's 8-month-old and 1-year-old children were allegedly with her in the car.
The incident took place at a Sonic drive-in. Police said the suspect pulled a gun on a carhop attendant serving her a drink and demanded she hand over the money kept in her apron.
The following day, a similar incident was reported, this time at another drive-in of the fast food chain. Logan ordered an 80-cent drink and, when the attendant served it to her, she allegedly flashed a firearm.
"If you look down I have a gun. I want the money inside of your apron. If not, I’m going to shoot you," she reportedly told the employee. She then said a friend was sitting at another stall with a gun fixed on her.
The employee later told police she noticed two infants in the back seat of Logan's car.
Cops launched an investigation and were able to track down the license plate of the vehicle, which belonged to Logan's boyfriend, KSAT noted.
Logan was apprehended and charged with robbery, aggravated robbery, and two counts of endangering a child.
During a police interview, she confessed to the robberies and admitted her children were in the car at the time. Her bail was set at $55,000.
