Rex Hudler, former Major League baseball player turned Kansas City Royals broadcaster, showed that he's still got it over the weekend when he caught a foul ball from the television booth and gave it to a young fan below him.
It happened during Saturday's game between the Royals and the Seattle Mariners when Kansas City's Salvador Perez fouled back a high ball toward the team's broadcasting booth. Hudler, who played every position except pitcher and catcher over his 13-season MLB career,
stretched out and snagged the ball, Deadspin.com reported.

After striking a Hulk pose, the 53-year-old tossed the ball down into the stands to a young boy.
Hudler provides color commentary for Royals' television broadcasts, next to play-by-play announcer Steve Physioc, who additionally made the call on Hudler's catch.
Major League baseball received 1,600 likes and more than 80 shares on Hudler's catch on its Facebook page.
The catch was nice but Royals fans have been enjoying one the best starts the team has had in years. Kansas City, at 40-36, is two games behind the Central Division leading Detroit Tigers. The Royals have had one winning season in the last 10 years, coming last year when the team finished with an 86-76 record. Unfortunately, that was only good enough for third place in the competitive five-team Central Division.
Hudler is in his third season broadcasting for the Kansas City Royals on FOX Sports Kansas City after 11 seasons on the Los Angeles Angels broadcast team. The former player is a four-time winner of the Television Color Analyst of the Year by the Southern California Sports Broadcasters and he also won a 2004 Emmy for "Angels in the Infield."
