WaPost Poll: More Republicans Favor Thanksgiving Dinner

More Republicans than Democrats or independents have a favorable view of Thanksgiving dinner. Overall, 93 percent of Americans have a favorable view of the traditional meal, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll showed.
 
Republicans clock in at 98 percent in favor, with 89 percent expressing strongly favorable views.

Democrats are at 92 percent, with 77 percent strongly favorable; independents are at 91 percent in favor, with 68 percent strongly approving of the holiday feast.

The overall favorability rating tops 90 percent in virtually all groups tested whether politically, geographically, or by gender, the poll of more than 1,000 adults showed.
