Actresses Selma Blair and Rachel McAdams are the latest in a growing list of women accusing James Toback of sexual harassment and assault, Time magazine reported.
These claims come amid mounting allegations against the writer and director, with about 200 women reporting having experienced inappropriate encounters with Toback, Time magazine reported.
The Los Angeles Times first uncovered the scandal after publishing a report detailing the accounts of 38 accusers.
The 72-year-old Hollywood mogul's story is similar to that of Harvey Weinstein, with both men allegedly targeting aspiring actresses.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Toback allegedly staged interviews and auditions with these women and then used his authority as a Hollywood producer to make inappropriate remarks and sexually assault them.
Since that initial report, more women have come forth and accused Toback of sexual harassment and assault, with Blair and McAdams being the most recent.
"I was 21 and in the middle of theater school when I met [Toback]," McAdams said, per Vanity Fair.
"He used the same language during my audition—that you have to take risks and sometimes you're going to be uncomfortable and sometimes it's going to feel dangerous," she said.
Meanwhile Blair said that Toback threatened her life after their encounter in 1999, after he asked that she take her clothes off and do a monologue naked, Deadline reported.
After she refused to have sex with him, Toback allegedly started rubbing against her. She later told her rep that he was "vile," and that she never wanted to be in the same room with him again, Deadline reported.
Toback denied the claims of sexual harassment and assault, according to Deadline.
