Queen, the classic rock band, and pop singer Adam Lambert announced on Thursday a summer tour starting in late June and making stops in more than 20 cities across the country.
Queen and Lambert, a former “American Idol” contestant, first performed together in 2009. They teamed up again in 2011 to pay tribute to the late Freddie Mercury, who was once the frontman for Queen.
They teamed up for a full-on tour in 2014, performing classic hits like “We Will Rock You,” “We Are the Champions,” “Somebody to Love” and “Bohemian Rhapsody,” said the Los Angeles Times.
The tour will begin in Phoenix on June 23, and include stops in Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., and Dallas before wrapping up in Houston on Aug. 5, said Entertainment Weekly.
Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor are telling fans to be ready for “a brand new show specially designed and created for this outing.”
Tickets for the upcoming tour will go on sale Feb. 3.
