A parody video depicting Princess Leia walking in New York City and being harassed by Star Wars characters has gone viral.
The video, created by the Are We There Yet Comedy group, is the latest parody of a video made by Rob Bliss Creative, actress Shoshana Roberts, and Hollaback to draw attention to street harassment.
In the original video, Roberts
receives more than 100 catcalls while walking on the streets of New York City for 10 hours.
The Princess Leia video incorporates numerous quotes and characters from the film series, including Yoda saying, “Judge me by my size, do you?"; Luke Skywalker saying, “I’m here to rescue you”; and Darth Vader calling out, “I am your father.” Indiana Jones jumps in at one point and shouts “Wrong movie!” before disappearing.

The video was viewed more than a million times as of Wednesday. While most comments were positive, the comments section included criticism from some who feel that it trivializes harassment.
“This is making a joke of a serious problem that affects millions of women. Street harassment is not a 'compliment,' because it makes people uncomfortable,” commenter Blake Danser wrote.
Most Twitter users seemed to like the parody.
