Rumors of a feud between Prince William and Prince Harry escalated after the two brothers were seen arriving separately for the annual Easter church service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on Sunday and didn’t speak to each other.
William, 36, and Harry, 34, kept a notable distance during the ceremony, People reported. Their cousin Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall provided a buffer between the two brothers who did not speak to each other when entering and exiting the chapel.
Adding fuel to the fire is news of a plan to send Harry and a heavily pregnant Meghan Markle, who was not present at the Easter service, on an international job that could see them move abroad following the birth of their child. An insider revealed to The Sunday Times that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could likely relocate to Africa in a "bespoke" role that would see the royal "rock stars" utilize their appeal to a younger crowd in the Commonwealth.
"Discussions are at an early stage, but the plan is to find a new way of using their soft power abilities, most likely in Africa," the insider said. According to the Times, "a decision on where they would be based is unlikely to be taken until 2020 when they have settled down with their new baby which is due within days."
Controversy and rumors have been swirling around Harry and Meghan, who is wildly popular and also there have been multiple reports of a growing distance between the two royal brothers amid reports of tension between their wives.
Multiple reports of a big feud between the couple and William and his wife, Duchess Kate.
Buckingham Palace did not deny the report of Harry and Meghan going to Africa, but noted that no concrete decisions had been made.
"Any future plans for The Duke and Duchess are speculative at this stage," a statement read, according to People.
"It’s a bit sad really. The wives don’t get on. The brothers have fallen out," an insider close to the family said, according to Fox News. Meanwhile, a mutual friend of William and Harry said it "would suit William to get his brother out of the country for a few years and Meghan as far away as possible."
