Planters Cheez Balls, Cheez Curls Making a Comeback Soon

Planters Cheez Balls, a popular snack from the 1990s, are making a comeback along with Planters Cheez Curls on July 1.

The Kraft Heinz Company said its decision to bring both snack items back after a 12-year retirement was prompted by continued pleas from their fans.

“We heard many impassioned pleas for us to bring Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls back over the years and we wanted to give our fans a chance to reunite with their most-missed cheesy snack,” Planters' head of brand building, Melanie Huet, said in a news release.

Not only is Planters working to ensure the beloved snacks are identical in every way to the original, it’s also keeping the same retro packaging for the items.

Each 4-ounce canister of the cheesy snack will be available online at Amazon and Walmart at $1.99 per can, and at select stores.

Company mascot Mr. Peanut tweeted:
