Pizza Cake: Canadian Pizza Chain Poll Led by 6-Layer Creation

A six-layer "pizza cake" may be on its way to a Canadian pizza chain.

Boston Pizza is conducting a social media poll to determine whether there’s enough support to create a cake made with traditional meat and cheese pizza toppings.

Predictably, the Italian-inspired creation has garnered some humorous reaction via Twitter:

The Boston Pizza company appears to have a sense of humor as well. The chain has introduced a marketing campaign titled Pizza Game Changers, which includes a website, www.pizzagamechangers.com, that allows people to cast their votes for pizza creations that may or may not be adopted by the company. The pizza cake is currently leading the list.

Some of the items that Boston Pizza has already created include Sriracha chicken pizza, pizza sliders that are like hamburger sliders but with pizza toppings, and a chipotle chicken taco.

It’s not yet known when the pizza cake may become a reality.
