Rumors of on-set strife between "The Newsroom" star Olivia Munn and the rest of the cast are just that and bear "no resemblance to reality," writer-producer Aaron Sorkin says.
"Olivia is a perfect cast member who is loved and respected by the entire cast, by the crew and the producers, by HBO, and especially by me,"
Sorkin told Us Weekly.

The show recently completed its second season depicting the behind-the-scenes events at the fictional Atlantis Cable News (ACN) channel. The ensemble cast includes Jeff Daniels as anchor Will McAvoy, Emily Mortimer, and Sam Waterston. Munn plays reporter Sloan Sabbith.
Sorkin's statement came after
RadarOnline.com quoted an unnamed "cast insider" that said, "Olivia and Aaron's relationship soured so completely during season two of 'The Newsroom' that it created a poisonous atmosphere on the set."
The source went on to say that Munn has displayed a "know-it-all attitude."
Munn tweeted her disappointment with the rumor, but said it "feels so great 2 have friends like this who stick up 4 u."
