President Barack Obama's
speech at Saturday's White House Correspondents' Association Dinner was full of zingers, but one that stood out to Twitter users was the joke aimed at CNN.
"I know CNN has taken some knocks lately, but the fact is I admire their commitment to cover all sides of a story, just in case one of them happens to be accurate," Obama said.
He went on to poke at other networks and then said, "The fact is I really do respect the press. I recognize that the press and I have different jobs to do. My job is to be president; you job is to keep me humble. Frankly, I think I’m doing my job better."

CNN erroneously reported April 17 that a suspect had been arrested in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings earlier that week. The network defended the mistake, citing information from multiple sources.
"CNN had three credible sources on both local and federal levels," a spokesperson said in a statement. "Based on this information we reported our findings. As soon as our sources came to us with new information we adjusted our reporting."
Nonetheless, the joke resonated with Twitter users who used the social network to praise Obama's dig.
The annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel brings together an unlikely pairing of journalists, government officials, politicians, and media personalities for an evening of light-hearted banter and celebrity gawking dubbed the "nerd prom."
