It is the second book from Reedus’ self-publishing company, Big Bald Books. The first was a compilation of his photography.
According to the book’s description: “‘
Thanks For All The Niceness’ is Norman’s way to show his gratitude in a compilation of artwork made by his fans. The Norman/Daryl archetype is created in tattoo designs, cakes, pencil sketches, mosaics and more. Norman selected over 100 fascinating pieces that appear in this beautifully designed book. It’s real art made by real people for real people.”
Reedus received more than 3,000 submissions for the book from all over the world, including Japan, Spain, Mexico, England, Australia, Italy, Hungary, Brazil, Austria, and Indonesia. The book can be preordered for $60.
The fifth season of “The Walking Dead” starts Oct. 12 on AMC. The sexuality of Reedus' Daryl Dixon character may be addressed this season. Creator Robert Kirkman
told ComicBook.com that AMC would allow the possibility of Daryl Dixon being gay.
“All I can say is that it’s been discussed,” Kirkman told ComicBook.com. “We have very specific ideas about Daryl’s sexuality (or the seeming lack thereof), and if there’s ever a quiet period in the show where he’s not consistently distracted by crossbowing ... we’ll tackle it in the show.”
