Nick Cannon and his girlfriend Brittany Bell have become proud new parents once again, this time to a baby girl. Bell announced the birth of their daughter on Friday via Instagram.
"The best gift ever. we have been surprised with... A GIRL!!!!!" Bell, who shares 3-year-old son Golden with Cannon, captioned a series of photos. One image features Bell, Golden, and Cannon smiling into the camera. Bell is gently holding their baby girl in her arms. A second photo shows Cannon and Bell wearing pajamas while standing holding their newborn, while in a third photo Cannon is dressed in a Santa Claus outfit and holding his little daughter.
"Powerful Queen Cannon came this week perfect timing for Christmas," Bell continued in her Instagram post. "So much more to share. All I can say is that Nick was my rock through the most intense yet empowering natural water birth. It was nothing but POWERFUL. Merry Christmas!!!! THANK YOU GOD."
Cannon also shares 9-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife singer Mariah Carey. Earlier this month the TV host opened up about how he and Carey were coping with co-parenting over the holiday season. During an interview with People, Cannon explained that it was a time of year that they would "always embrace as a family and as our families expand."
He added that the focus was to "continue to make sure that we keep everyone focused on love" and respect.
"It’s all rooted in love, it’s all rooted in positive energy," Cannon explained. "There’s no hard feelings and ill will. Ultimately, it’s about putting the kids first and making sure they have the best childhood they could possibly have."
