Newsmax Media Maintains A+ Better Business Bureau (BBB) Rating

Newsmax Media has received the highest possible rating from the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida and the Caribbean.

BBB rates companies on a scale of A+ to F. Newsmax has an A+ rating.

"Newsmax Media is a cutting-edge online media publisher, but it hasn’t forgotten that customer care is key to its business success," the Bureau stated in an article praising Newsmax.

"Founded in 1998 in South Florida, the company is best known for its original website, Newsmax.com — a Top 10 portal for news, politics, and world events."

Since its founding, Newsmax has become a multimedia publisher. From its headquarters in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, the company publishes Newsmaxhealth.com, Moneynews.com, and other paid digital and print publications in the areas of health, finance and global intelligence. Each month, Newsmax reaches more than 12 million Americans.

"While other online content publishers have struggled, Newsmax has boomed," BBB observed.

Brian Todd, COO of Newsmax, said: “Despite the growth, we have focused on customer education and assurance.

“And with this focus we have avoided many of the consumer-driven problems some publishers have faced.”

Newsmax doesn’t outsource its customer service and order operations, Todd noted.

“By keeping customer service in house, we can make sure we maintain high standards and customer satisfaction,” he said.

The company fully informs customers about details of the products and subscriptions they sell, BBB pointed out.

“We inform customers and we repeat and repeat the offer details. We don’t want a customer to not know what they ordered and what the subscription agreement entails,” Todd said.

Because of this the company has had a very low ratio of complaints over the volume of transactions, BBB disclosed.

“We offer our customers multiple ways to contact us including telephone, email, postal mail, and fax. We offer a quick response time and 100 percent satisfaction. I routinely receive praise from our customers for how well they are treated,” Todd said.

Handling complaints is also integral to Newsmax’s approach. Customers seeking refunds usually get them within 24 hours or less, no questions asked.

Newsmax recently developed a new, more hands-on training manual, implemented new quality assurance programs, and increased the length of new hire training. Response time has been significantly improved, wait time shortened, and the quality assurance program implemented to monitor and evaluate customer service.

BBB concluded: "Newsmax’s influence has made it a must-read for Americans across the country and a must-visit for newsmakers."

Newsmax recently launched an online TV channel, “NewsmaxTV Live,” and broadcast media will become a major part of operations in years to come.
