NY Post's 'Rexit' Cover Plays on Trump 'Best Sex' One From the '90s

The New York Post’s Wednesday front page on Rex Tillerson’s firing recalls one of its most talked-about Donald Trump covers from the ‘90s.

The “Worst Rex He Ever Had” cover spoofs Marla Maples’ infamous boast of her love life with the billionaire real estate mogul. Trump was the “Best Sex I’ve Ever Had,” she supposedly told pals at the time.

Trump and Maples were married from 1993 to 1999.

Trump ousted his secretary of state Wednesday and announced he’ll be replaced by CIA director Mike Pompeo. The president nominated Gina Haspel to take Pompeo’s spot as chief of the CIA, making her the first woman to ever serve in the position if confirmed.

The New York Post's headline writers were on a roll Tuesday. A story about Trump's California visit to view border wall prototypes carried this title: "Trump shops at wall mart."
