A Michigan mom is in custody after allegedly leaving her infant twins in a suitcase on the curb.
Child Protective Services had already been called to the woman's residence and when they arrived on the scene found the twins in the suitcase, police said Wednesday, the Detroit Free Press reported.
CPS was there to take custody of the twins and two other children, ages 3 and 4, the Free Press said.
The twins, both girls, were taken to a local hospital and found to be in good condition.
The mother reportedly has a history of mental illness, NBC 25 reported.
