MMA fighter Jonathan "War Machine" Koppenhaver was charged Wednesday with 25 felony counts including attempted murder for his alleged assault of his porn star ex-lover, Christy Mack.
At the arraignment, held in Las Vegas, district attorney Steve Wolfson of
told NBC News that Mack is "no different from any other domestic violence victims. She is healing at home, and she is ready to testify."
After adding the 25 felony charges against Koppenhaver — which were added to seven existing counts — Justice of the Peace Melanie Tobiasson ordered he be held without bail.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Koppenhaver assaulted Mack and her friend Corey Thomas on Aug. 8, fled, and was arrested Aug. 15 in California after a weeklong, two-state search.
Koppenhaver did not enter a plea, but his attorney
told TMZ they will enter a not guilty plea to the attempted murder charges, which the lawyer called a clear case of "overzealous prosecution."
Mack was hospitalized after her encounter with Koppenhaver, and has since undergone several surgeries on the road to recovery.
