Katherine Nicole Rees, the former Miss Nevada who lost her crown after lewd pictures went public, is under arrest and facing meth-related charges in Las Vegas.

Rees, 30, lost her crown in 2007 and now faces four felony charges on trafficking in a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, and additional counts, all related to a methamphetamine arrest in September, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

Rees has been in other legal trouble since losing her crown because lewd photos of her baring a breast, showing her thong, and kissing other women became public, the Review Journal said. At one point, she was charged with resisting arrest after a traffic stop, and in 2012, she pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor count of drug possession. At the time, she went through drug counseling.

People magazine reported Rees was stopped by customs when she flew into Australia in 2009, and that her baggage showed traces of cocaine.

At the time, People said the former beauty queen turned model told an Australian television show, "I don't do drugs. I don't use cocaine. I don't use any kind of pill, no kind of Xanax, no anything. I don't use anything."

There were no charges resulting from that incident.

Ree’s Facebook page, which has since been deleted, was reported by the Review Journal to identify her as a "peace shaman" and said she was a "Warrior of Light," which was an "Indigo child/ starseed, healer, keeper and teacher of ancient wisdom, helping to raise the frequency (vibration) of humanity to the new 5D Earth through enlightenment, peace and love."

Rees is by no means the first or only beauty queen to lose her crown to controversy. Miss Kentucky Latina Daniela Gaskie in 2010 lost her crown after she was charged with assaulting a man and woman, NBC News reported. Pageant organizers also found out she was married.
