Mike Myers played a recently-fired-from-the-Trump-administration Dr. Evil in an appearance Wednesday on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
Myers’ character from the “Austin Powers” movies told Fallon that Steve Bannon beat him out for “Secretary of Evil,” but he was able to stay on as an “ideas guy” for Trump. Myers as Dr. Evil said he suggested a moat with “spiky blow fish” in place of a border wall, and that Alec Baldwin should pay for it.
When Fallon asked if he had come up with the idea of deporting Dreamers by getting rid of DACA, Dr. Evil said, “I’m evil, but I’m not a monster.”
Dr. Evil said he was BFFs with Ben Carson while he was in Trump’s employ, but he didn’t get along with Trump Jr., saying, “He looks like he’s missing a facial feature, you just don’t know which one.”
Myers as Evil said he is releasing a tell-all book, “Fire and Fury and Also Evil: And More Fire and Also Magma Too,” and that he plans to run for president in 2020 with “the only man who’s more hated right now than Donald Trump” as his running mate: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The campaign slogan would be “Make the world Evil again.”
Several Twitter commenters did not seem to appreciate Myers’ attempt at comedy.
