Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday night, reprising their "Back to the Future" roles on the exact date Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown landed in the future in the second movie.

In the skit, McFly and Brown are shocked to learn they've made it to 2015, but are somewhat disappointed with the pace of human development.

They ask if people are watching them on TV, and Kimmel explains that most are probably watching "on their phones on the toilet," a statement that confounds and confuses the time-travelers.

After discussing hoverboards, peace in the Middle East, and a gay dating app they inadvertently find on Kimmel's phone, they get the good news that both the Cubs and the Mets are in the playoffs (as the movie predicted).

They also brought up the movie character Biff Tannen, joking that he and Donald Trump are one and the same, and that he's running for president.

"2015 kind of sucks," McFly concludes, prompting laughter from the audience.

1980s rocker Huey Lewis made a cameo from the audience to close the clip.

During a post-skit interview, Fox and Kimmel discussed a Marty McFly action figure, and a pair of self-lacing Nike Mags.
