Mel Gibson and Colin Farrell will star in the drug cartel revenge film "War Pigs," with production slated to start in October.
"War Pigs" follows a group of disillusioned ex-Marines who go on a final mission to get revenge on the cartel that murdered a colleague and stole their drug money, Variety reported.
The movie marks the continued Hollywood return of Gibson, who is also slated to direct World War II drama "Destroyer," his first since earning an Academy Award nomination for his directing work in "Hacksaw Ridge," the celebrity publication stated.
Tommy Wirkola will direct "War Pigs" for Millennium Films, and it was written by Nick Ball and John Nevin.
Farrell has completed work on the upcoming Steve McQueen's movie "Widows" and Tim Burton's "Dumbo," according to Variety. He also recently appeared in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
