Megan Fox has lashed out at her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, for posting a photo of their son to social media. The actress was furious after she saw an Instagram image of Green and their 4-year-old son, Journey River, dressed in their Halloween costumes and immediately called him out.
"Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It's not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren't in," Fox commented on Green's post on Sunday, per People. "I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture via Instagram."
Green and Fox share sons Noah Shannon, 7, Bodhi Ransom, 6, and Journey, 4. Green is also a father to 18-year-old son Kassius, whom he shares with ex Vanessa Marcil. Fox has chosen to be private on social media while Green regularly posts photos of his children to Instagram. By doing so, he was making it appear as if Fox was deliberately absent from their children's lives, she stated.
"You're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time," Fox said. "Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?"
In response, Green removed the image and reposted it with their son cropped out.
Earlier this year, Green and Fox revealed that they were splitting after 10 years of marriage. The announcement came as news emerged that Fox was dating rapper and punk rocker Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker.
"We've had an amazing relationship, and I will always love her," Green said on his podcast in May. "And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we've built is really cool and really special."
Things appeared to sour between the two after Fox shared a photo of herself with Baker to Instagram in August.
"Achingly Beautiful Boy... My heart is yours," she captioned the image.
Green retaliated by posting photos of their sons to Instagram.
"Achingly Beautiful Boys... My heart is yours," he wrote as a caption.
Social media users were not impressed.
"He's copying off of megan's post, the one of her and mgk. It was posted both on the same day, and he copied her caption. This man has issues," one Instagram user noted, while another called Green a "petty baby daddy."
"You have issues," a third person wrote.
"Grown a-- man, acting like a kid, smh," another added.
