Mainstream media outlets are being bashed on Twitter for covering Angelina Jolie's double mastectomy before stories on Benghazi, the Internal Revenue Service scandal, the Gosnell trial, or the Associated Press phone records seizure.
CNN, NBC, and ABC all led their morning programs Tuesday with
Jolie's decision to have a preventative double mastectomy after she learned she had a faulty gene that put her risk of breast cancer at 87 percent.

Meanwhile, other major news is happening in the U.S. and abroad, including the Internal Revenue Service scandal, the seizure of Associated Press phone records, and the aftermath of last week's hearings on Benghazi.
The IRS is under fire after news broke last Friday that the agency had
targeted groups with the words "Tea Party" or "Patriot" in their name, forcing them to fill out additional questionnaires and provide more information to get approval for their tax-exempt status.
The Justice Department this week reportedly
seized two months of phone records from Associated Press reporters and editors, in what the wire service is calling a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather news.
Many media outlets are also still reeling from
last week's hearings on the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attacks that left four Americans dead.
Twitter users are outraged that a celebrity's health plights trumped these stories and others in the mainstream media.
