Master Chief motorcycle helmets will ship this July to fans of blockbuster videogame series "Halo," making any biker look like the star of the futuristic shooter game.
The slick helmet has spent more than a year in the making.
As CNET.com reported, its design is being developed by NECA, a company known for action figures and other collectibles.
A sneak peek of the helmet design was reported in June, generating huge buzz in the gamer community, but the new preview is much more complete, showing off the helmet's coloring, reflective eye shield, and front air intakes to reduce shield fogging.
The company
made it clear in a blog post that the new images are close approximations of the final helmet, but also revealed a long list detailing the helmet's features.
It will come in four sizes, and meets or exceeds Department of Transportation standards. Feature highlights include ABS shell with matte UV-protective clear coat, dual-layer EPS cheek pads, eyeglasses friendly interior, and more.
