"Manhattan Madam" Kristin Davis has a new profession: On Friday, she opened her new nail art salon, "Bombshell Beauty Lab," just two weeks after she gave grand jury testimony for special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

Davis, a longtime confidante of political strategist Roger Stone, told The Daily Beast that she decided to open her business because no West Harlem shops offered the kind of nail art she likes.

She also offered that she got some of the best pedicures of her life while spending four months in New York City's Rikers Island, where she was sentenced for her major 2008 prostitution scandal.

Davis said she opened her small shop for about $30,000, gathered from her own savings and a small loan.

However, she told The Daily Beast she racked up $25,000 in attorney's fees for her grand jury appearance, and called the experience of testifying underwhelming.

"The room is like being in a small college lecture course," said Davis. "Everybody that’s in there is in normal clothes ... some people are in sweats. It was rather ... rather bland in the room. I was expecting something much more grandiose [for a] grand jury.”

Davis added she has even considered seeking public office again. A few years ago, she ran for New York City comptroller, but she's got her eyes on a possible state Senate race.

"As I’ve gone through the biggest investigation in the world right now ... I’m just disheartened in how they treat people and how the government can bully you,” said Davis, who calls herself a Libertarian. "I don’t like it. Prison advocacy has been my thing and now, maybe I should run for office."
