A Boston man dressed as Elsa from “Frozen” pushed a police vehicle out of the snow singlehandedly Tuesday night when it got stuck in the third Nor’easter in two weeks.
Thirty-seven-year-old attorney Jason Triplett earned cheers from his friends and the other bar patrons at The Gallows gastropub when the police wagon finally pulled away through several inches of snow, HuffPost reported. Triplett responded by curtsying in the snow.
A Facebook video of Triplett as Elsa in the snow went viral and has been viewed more than 3.5 million times.
Triplett told the Boston Globe he bought he Elsa outfit last winter and wore it Tuesday to make his friends laugh. “That was worth it enough for me,” he said.
Restaurant publicist Chris Haynes recorded the incident.
“You can’t make it up,” Haynes said, the Globe reported. “The great part of the video is it just sort of shows you his unmitigated commitment to helping get the truck unstuck. That’s what makes it really fun.”
“The officers involved were especially grateful for the help and would like to thank the Elsa-impersonator for the assist,” Boston police spokesman James Kenneally told the Globe.
“Everyone will be over it by noon,” Triplett told People. “But if this is my 15 minutes, I would like to leverage it to meet Adam Rippon.”
The Twitter community loved the video as much as the people in the bar.
