After a search for the suspect and a white van in which he reportedly fled the scene, police found the body of 59-year-old Danny Wray Brown, dead of an apparent suicide, the news station reported.
“It seems to be that a female and a male had some type of confrontation in the parking lot,” Cobb County Sgt. Dana Pierce
told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, adding that alleged shooter then “casually got into a white van and left the area.”
Witnesses in the area reportedly overheard the man and woman arguing but couldn’t tell what the argument was about.
A good Samaritan who was apparently trying to help the unidentified woman was also shot at several times but wasn’t injured.
