Macey Hensley, the presidential whiz kid, shot into the limelight two years ago after appearing on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” talk show at the tender age of 5.
She immediately won audiences over with her impressive ability to name all the presidents and later sealed her fame by singing the adorable song she uses to remember their names.
Since then it has been a rollercoaster ride for the now 7-year-old Kansas kid.
She has rubbed shoulders with George W. Bush, as well Barack Obama, and even received her own ventriloquist dummy from DeGeneres, The Kansas City Star reported.
Hensley has become the Kansas tourism spokesgirl and has made several return appearances to the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” revealing that she intends to run for president in 2048.
"Today" recounted how Hensley even delivered her own campaign speech during a visit to George W. Bush’s library in Dallas, where she also spent time painting with the former president.
Thanks to her encyclopedic knowledge of the presidents, Hensley has been amazing Americans across the country, traveling from state to state making special appearances at Civil War re-enactments and even throwing the first pitch at Major League Baseball games.
Yet, out of all the places Hensley has been to, home is still where her heart lies.
“I get to hang out with all of my animals out here,” she said of her family’s farm outside Council Grove, Kansas, according to The Kansas City Star.
“I like to go swimming in the creek. I’ve got an old catalog I’ve been looking through. We got it at a thrift store. An old Sears and Roebuck. It’s pretty neat.”
