Live-Tweeted Birth: Woman Posts 12-Hour Monologue During Labor

In true 21st century fashion, an Argentine woman live-tweeted her birth over the weekend for all of her 333,000 followers. It turned out to be a 12-hour, stream-of-consciousness monologue.

Claire Diaz-Ortiz, who also happens to be a Twitter employee, took to the social networking site Saturday when her water broke. From there, the Buenos Aires resident treated everyone to a stream-of-consciousness-style live tweeting session that included her musings about chocolate, what celebrity her doctor resembles, and planting a tree with the placenta.
