Kim Kardashian's dress caught fire at an awards show in New York City but best-selling singer and friend Pharrell Williams and his wife put it out.
The reality television star and expecting mother said the feathers on a black dress she was wearing at the Council of Fashion Designers awards show on Monday started to burn,
reported Us Weekly, but luckily Williams and his wife were nearby.
"Kim just couldn't catch a break on Monday night,"
wrote Jackie Willis of "Entertainment Tonight." "Making her first red carpet appearance since announcing that she and Kanye West are expecting baby No. 2, the 34-year-old reality star showed up with a cold to the event. Stepping out in a see-through Proenza Schoeler getup, Kim turned heads (per usual) with her outlandish look – that is before she found out it was flammable."
Kardashian told "Entertainment Tonight" she hopes her second pregnancy goes smoother than her first. She gave birth to the couple's first child, North West, in 2013.
"Hopefully this time I don't get preeclampsia," said Kardashian. "Hopefully, this time, I just have a healthier pregnancy. I'm just going to try to enjoy it."
Kardashian told "Entertainment Tonight" that she was at the Caitlyn Jenner Vanity Fair cover shoot and lent support to her.
"It was so beautiful," Kardashian told "ET." "I actually went to the shoot, and that was my first time meeting Caitlyn. She's beautiful, and I'm so proud that she can just be her authentic self. I guess that's what life is about."
