Kim Jong Nam’s son, in hiding since his father's VX nerve-agent murder in Malaysia, spoke out in a video, saying he's with his mother and sister.

Kim Han Sol did not give his location away in the short clip, but he did say that he was with family, according to NBC News.

“My name is Kim Han Sol, from North Korea, part of the Kim family,” the 21-year-old said in the video. “My father has been killed a few days ago. I’m currently with my mother and my sister…We hope this gets better soon.”

Kim Jong Nam, the half brother of North Korea’s leader, was killed at the Kuala Lumpur airport last month by two women, according to Yonhap News Agency.

The two women used “poisoned needles” to commit the assassination.

“Kim Jong Nam was feeling unwell on Monday morning while he was waiting for a flight to Macau at KLIA,” Mohmad Salleh, the Malaysian Criminal Investigations Department director, told the Telegraph at the time.

“He was taken to KLIA clinic for further treatment, but because of the condition he was in, he was rushed to Putrajaya Hospital, but passed away soon after arriving,” Salleh added.

A South Korean government official confirmed “that the person on the YouTube [video] is Kim Han Sol,” NBC News noted.

Kim Jong Nam’s family has been in exile since 2011 after a fallout with the North Korean regime.
