Kevin Smith, the director of "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy" who once was kicked off a plane because he was too fat, showed off his 85-pound weight loss over the weekend with a stunning before and after photo.
He posted the side-by-side shot, both of which feature his daughter, Harley Quinn, on Twitter Saturday morning.
The photo comes a few years after Smith was booted from a Southwest Airlines flight from Oakland to Burbank, California. In March 2010 flight attendants said he was too large to fit in a single seat, and made him leave the plane.
"Dear @SouthwestAir I know I'm fat, but was [the] captain really justified in throwing me off a flight for which I was already seated?" he tweeted shortly thereafter,
according to Entertainment Tonight.
"So, @SouthwestAir, go f*** yourself. I broke no regulation, offered no 'safety risk' (what, was I gonna roll on a fellow passenger?)."
After eventually getting on another flight, he tweeted, "Hey @SouthwestAir Look how fat I am on your plane! Quick! Throw me off!"
Smith has been working to lose the weight for some time now, and explained in February that the biggest lifestyle change that helped him was avoiding sugary drinks like sodas and juice.
