Supermodel-turned-princess Kendra Spears gave birth to her first child with husband Prince Rahim Aga Khan on April 11.

The couple’s son, named Prince Irfan, and his mother are in good health, Hello Daily News reported.

Spears, 26, married Prince Rahim, 43, in September 2013 and announced her pregnancy last October.

The birth, which occurred in Geneva, Switzerland, was announced April 14 on the Ismaili website.

The Ismailis belong to the Shia branch of Islam and live in more than 25 countries, according to the website.

Prince Rahim's father, Prince Shah Karim Al Hussaini, is the current Aga Khan and claims to be a direct descendant of the Prophet Mohammed.

Spears, known as Princess Salwa, was born in Seattle and was reportedly introduced to the prince by fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell, according to Closer Weekly.

Twitter users shared congratulations.
