Kelly Osbourne confessed that she relapsed after nearly four years of sobriety.

The reality TV star made the announcement on social media, reassuring fans that as of Monday she was again sober and intended to remain that way.

"This is a little hard for me to talk about, but I’ve always promised you that I will always be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on in my road to recovery. I relapsed. Not proud of it. But I am back on track," Osbourne said, according to Page Six.

"But I’ve learned it truly is just one day at a time," Osbourne added. "I just want to tell you guys the truth because I never, ever want to lie to you. Thank you so much for your support and your love."

During a 2020 interview with DJ Fat Tony on his podcast, "The Recovery,"  Osbourne shared that she was addicted to alcohol as well as drugs including opioids, tranquilizers, and marijuana.

"I never truly slept, I would pass out from whatever I drank or took and came to," she said. "I was in a haze of hangovers and withdrawals. I don’t know how I did it for as long as I did. I embalmed my body."

Her turning point came in 2017, after hitting rock bottom.

"I was so wasted the whole time. I hadn’t been to a grocery store in three years or done normal things. I thought, 'I don’t want to live like this any more,'" she said. "I’d put blackout curtains in my house so I didn’t know what time it was. I realized I wasn’t going to make it. I’d be dead if I keep doing this."

At the worst of her addiction, Osbourne said she turned to her brother, Jack, for help. She recalled calling him when she was "really drunk" and in tears.

"I got into his car. I was wearing a T-shirt and underwear. I remember saying to him, crying, 'I don’t want to be a fat drunk loser any more. I want to be a skinny winner.'"

After attending regular therapy sessions, Osbourne said she managed to get clean. In 2019, she opened up about her two years of sobriety on Instagram.

"I woke up this morning feeling overwhelmed with gratitude," she wrote. "I can’t even put into words how much my life has changed over the last 2 years. To the friends and family that have supported me on this Journey thank you I love you all so much. If you are new to sobriety stick to it life really does get good."
