Kaylan Mahomes' Twitter photo of herself, her twin sister, and her mom has sparked a new Internet mystery that has people all over the world trying to guess who’s the mom.
Mahomes posted the photo on Twitter with the caption “Mom, twin & me” on Jan. 28 and, since then, it has received about 32,000 likes and been retweeted more than 20,000 times.
The New York Daily News compared the attention-grabbing photograph to that of a striped dress that sparked a debate last year over whether it was blue and black or white and gold.
Some mentions of the photo have been branded with hashtags like #momtwinandme and #blackdontcrack, which is a popular reference to how well African Americans' skin ages.
Since generating so much media attention, the Indianapolis family created an Instagram page called “
momtwinandme” to share other photos of the youthful trio.
Online reports have given the answer away, pointing out the mother on the left, the twin sister, Kyla, in the middle and Kaylan on the right.
The mother, 35-year-old Tina Brown, told ABC News that she doesn’t exactly have a secret to her youthful appearance.
"I do try to drink water although I don't drink as much as I should," she said. "While looking nice on the outside is great . . . I do teach the girls to focus more on education and inner beauty."
