Several of Kathy Griffin's comedy tour shows have been canceled following her Donald Trump "beheading" photo and now she's called a Friday press conference, apparently to try to calm things down.
Besides being investigated by the Secret Service, fired by CNN and dissed by first lady Melania Trump, at least five venues have canceled Griffin's comedy show since she released a photo of her holding up a fake decapitated head of the president, according to Gossip Cop.
Griffin has had shows axed from her calendar for venues in California, New York and New Jersey, and it could be just the beginning.
The disturbing photo went viral Wednesday, and it's been bad for the comedian ever since.
Trump responded to the depiction, saying his 11-year-old son, Barron, was "having a hard time" with the photo.
CNN removed Griffin from their annual New Year's Eve show, which she's co-hosted for almost 10 years.
Griffin will explain the Trump beheading photo shoot at a press conference Friday, according to Fox News.
Griffin and her attorney Lisa Bloom were scheduled to hold the press conference in Woodland Hills, California at 9 a.m.
There have been some mixed reactions from Twitter users since the image of Trump's fake bloodied head went viral this week.
