Kanye West hit the Top 40 with all seven tracks of his new album “Ye,” which also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart despite calls to boycott it after controversial comments the hip-hop artist made about President Donald Trump and slavery.

“Yikes” was the highest-charting song from the album at No. 8, with “All Mine” hitting No. 11, “Ghost Town” at No. 16, “Wouldn’t Leave” at No. 25, “Violent Crimes” at No. 27, “I Thought About Killing You” at No. 28, and “No Mistakes” at No. 36.

The album’s No. 1 debut ties West with Eminem and The Beatles for the longest consecutive streak of No. 1 albums. Nielsen Music said the album sold 208,000 equivalent album units for the week that ended June 7, and was the fifth-largest week for a 2018 album, Billboard reported.

West told TMZ in May that 400 years of slavery “sounds like a choice,” drawing an outcry from the black community. The hip-hop artist said he changed parts of his album after the interview controversy to avoid stirring up even more unrest among his fans.

“It was just too sensitive about that topic and stuff,” West said in a radio interview with Big Boy during a listening party for the album, CNN reported. “I was like, Yo, I’m just going to chill right now. Let’s just keep making some music.”

West has talked openly about being bipolar and raps about it in the “Ye” song “Yikes.”

“I think everybody got something,” West told Big Boy. “But like I said on the album. I said it’s not a disability it’s a superpower.”
