Kanye West's new album is on the way, or at least that is what his manager has people believing.

Fans have been anticipating a follow-up to West's 2019 "Jesus Is King" album. The musician was initially meant to release "Donda" back in July 2020, but that never materialized. Now his manager, Abou "Bu" Thiam, has hinted that a new album is in the works.

The teaser came as Gap unveiled its first clothing collaboration with West's Yeezy brand. Commenting on the retailer's Instagram post revealing a baby blue round jacket, Thiam wrote, "WestDayEver. Album OTW!"

In June 2020, West attempted to trademark "West Day Ever" with the hopes of using the slogan on "100 different types of apparel," including "t-shirts, hoodies, tracksuits, bomber jackets, turtlenecks, jumpsuits, g-strings, beanies, blazers, infant wear and footwear," according to Revolt

He also hashtagged the phrase when announcing a slew of projects as well as his 10-year partnership with GAP, which saw the puffer jacket sell for $200. The item was sold out within a few hours of its release, according to CNBC

The partnership was announced last year and West is expected to receive royalties and potential equity based on sales results.

"We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family," said Mark Breitbard, the Gap brand global head, according to Reuters. He described West as "a creative visionary, building on the esthetic and success of his Yeezy brand" with the new Gap line.

A Gap spokeswoman said the deal "is an example of leveraging the brand power that Gap has and thinking in a new way about how we can introduce the brand to new customers, new audiences."

The value of the partnership could be worth as much as $970 million of that total, according to documents reviewed by Bloomberg
