Justin Timberlake has announced the dates for his 27-date North American tour, Man of the Woods.
The Grammy-winning artist's trek kicks off on March 13 in Toronto and will conclude in Memphis on May 30, E! News reported.
The tour will promote the release of Timberlake's fifth studio album, which will drop on Feb. 2, two days before Timberlake headlines the halftime show at Super Bowl LII, Billboard noted.
Timberlake said he drew upon the outdoors for inspiration for many of the songs featured on the upcoming LP and the tour would bring those concepts indoors.
"How can we bring that to life?" Timberlake asked in the tour's trailer, according to Rolling Stone magazine. "I want people to see the inspiration for how it ended up sounding. I've never seen that done before: Bring the outside in."
Billboard noted that Timbaland and Danja (Nate Hills) were both heavily involved in the making of Timberlake's Man of the Woods album, which has maintained a consistent theme that draws upon nature.
Danja told Complex that the image that was being marketed was "very accurate to the landscape of the project," noting that Timberlake was known to incorporate various elements into his music.
"It's always funk, R&B, soul, hip-hop, country—he definitely is very, like you said, personal in terms of subject matter and the feeling of it and the essence of the project will have some of those grassroots element," he said.
Sales for Timberlake's Man of the Woods tour will open on Jan. 16 at Ticketmaster, with further information available on his website.
