Huntsman has kept a low profile so far, and now he has to step it up, GOP operatives say.
“Huntsman needs to connect with people,” says Travis Blais, party chairman in Windham, N.H.
“He obviously needs to dispel any suspicion that he’s not conservative enough to win the Republican nomination.
"The guy’s got a great resume, but so does Tim Pawlenty. So does Rick Santorum," Blais adds.
"It’s got to be, ‘Why Jon Huntsman?’”
