A man was arrested after he broke into Johnny Depp's sprawling Hollywood mansion, took a shower then helped himself to the liquor cabinet.
The incident took place on Thursday, according to a new report by TMZ. A neighbor first spotted the unidentified man lurking in the back yard of Depp's home, near the pool. When confronted, he allegedly jumped a fence, gaining access to Depp's home. Shortly after, police received a call from Depp's security team informing them that someone was in the house.
Upon arrival at the scene, authorities allegedly discovered the man in one of the bathrooms taking a shower. The door was locked and the man reportedly refused to come out, forcing them to break down the door. It was further reported that the man had made himself a drink. He was booked for felony vandalism due to a damaged door in the home.
This is not the first home intruder Depp has had to deal with this year. An unidentified woman linked to another burglary in the area was arrested after she broke into his mansion in January, TMZ reported. She managed to flee the scene after tripping the alarm but was apprehended nearby.
Suzanne Somers has also fallen victim to a home intruder. The "Three's Company" star was filming a makeup video on Facebook Live last month at her California estate when a man wandered onto the property. Somers was expecting guests that night and initially thought he was part of the group but realized he was an intruder after he told her ghosts had been following him.
In a video clip of the Livestream shared by Page Six, Somers tells the man that he should not be on her property. He apologizes then tells her he has a gift for her. After exchanging a few more words, the man was escorted off the property by Somers' husband and apprehended by police waiting at the gate.
