Actor John Stamos, the much-beloved Uncle Jesse in “Full House,” last week stood outside the house where the show was set but visiting fans didn’t even notice him.
Stamos showed a wry humor when he posted on Friday a photo of himself outside the San Francisco house, with fans nearby, and the words, “Boy, these youngsters have 0.0 idea what they’re missing. #Fullhousehouse #TURNAROUND.”
Stamos’ co-star Lori Loughlin told People magazine the oblivious fans had her “howling” with laughter.
“He called me Friday, and I'd just seen it," Loughlin told People. "I said, 'That's the best Instagram I've ever seen in my life! I thought it was so, so good."
Loughlin, who played Stamos’ wife in the show, told the entertainment magazine she’s still recognized from that part.
Although Stamos went undetected while taking the photo, Loughlin says she still gets recognized constantly from her days playing Stamos' wife. “It's lovely. I only have fond memories and thoughts, and love that show, the cast and the whole experience," she said.
The cast of the popular show got together in January to celebrate the birthday of the show’s creator, Jeff Franklin. Stamos’ band, Jesse and the Rippers, serenaded him
