John Legend surprised commuters in London for International Piano Day on Wednesday, making an impromptu appearance, as he performed some of his greatest hits, including "Ordinary People," "All of Me" and "Surefire."
The famed singer also took the opportunity to promote his new album, "Darkness and Light," and his upcoming tour, according to Fox News.
Legend performed at London’s St. Pancras train station, and though the station might have known the "Lets Get Lifted" artist would be present, commuters appeared to be completely thrown off by the pop-up mini concert.
The R&B star hinted at a possible performance earlier that morning, taking to Twitter to ask London residents whether there was still a piano at the railway station, CNN noted.
Legend did a 10-minute set for commuters, and based on the reception that he received, it’s a good thing he’ll be returning to London for his world tour next fall, which begins in Miami in May.
Here’s some reaction from Twitter users.
