John Carter Cash Stripping Arrest: Son of Country Legend Was Drunk

John Carter Cash was arrested in Canada Monday for allegedly stripping down to his underwear at the airport in Deer Lake.

The 44-year-old son of the late country star Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash was on his way home to Tennessee from a hunting trip when he was picked up at the airport in Newfoundland either drunk or suffering from a medical issue, the National Post reported.

Security guards convinced the singer and music producer to put his clothes back on before police arrived, People magazine reported.

No charges were filed, according to the report, but Cash was taken to a police station and held until he was sober.

Cash, who has no criminal record and was cooperative with officials, missed his flight on Monday but was expected to catch another flight home Tuesday, CTV News reported.
